Registration Help
Important!
Before registering, call the New Jersey Herald at (973) 383-1500 or (800) 424-3725 during regular office hours (listed below) to obtain your subscription account number.

You'll be asked to confirm your phone number in our billing system. The phone number you identify in your registration for Digital NJ Herald must match the number listed in our system.

If you should experience difficulty registering for Digital NJ Herald, please check the following list of quick troubleshooting tips:

1. Be sure to fill out all the required fields.
2. Private email must reflect your actual email address.

To view the Digital Edition of theThe New Jersey Herald, you'll need Adobe Acrobat 5.0 or greater installed on your system. New Jersey Herald

Keyword Search – type in any word that best describes the subject matter of interest. The more detailed the keyword(s) the more narrow the search. Broader terminology will produce more search results.
In case you missed out on some recent reading, the most recent seven publishing days are made available at all times. You may also search from all seven days or a specific date.
This quick “jump” tool allows you to quickly navigate through pages and editions when you already know where you want to go.
To view a page you simply need to place your cursor arrow on the page image or page number and make a left double click. Depending on your internet service, some time may elapse while the image loads.
You may view all the page images by sliding the right side screen navigation up or down.

Once a page has been selected and loaded, the page will appear as shown below.

To go to view another page you need to close out of the current page by selecting File:Close or left clicking the close window option on the upper right corner of the page.

You can save a copy of a page to your desktop by selecting this option.

Print the full page view to 8 ½ x 11 paper.

Move the page image around by selecting this option, placing the hand cursor on the page image, right click and hold. Move your mouse as you wish the image to move.

This option allows you to enlarge a selected area of the page or make it smaller. Select the cursor, place it on the area of the page that interest you and right click. When the cursor displays a (+) sign it will enlarge the area. If the cursor displays a (-) sign it will make the selected area smaller. You may change the cursor display at the top of the page.

You may make the page larger or smaller by using these options. Clicking on the (-) reduces the page image, while clicking on the (+) enlarges the page image on your screen.

You may navigate up and down the page image by sliding the right side screen bar up or down.
